A fast-paced environment working within a small creative team (one other designer & one director), functioning as part of the Marketing Team to create new, effective marketing materials while remaining within the brand guidelines. Also responsible for creating Operations materials including all onboard materials.
Marketing projects include, but are not limited to, varying print work, such as direct mail, brochures, magazine ads & newsletters, web graphics (email, display ads, social media, etc.), and more. Programs used are primarily Adobe Indesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. Job requires working closely with every department within the company, attention to detail, handling numerous daily, weekly, & ongoing projects, and the ability to meet multiple deadlines.
In addition to American Cruise Lines, our team handles all work for sister companies Pearl Seas Cruises & Chesapeake Shipbuilding.

Big Books
Completed several unique versions of our single largest and most successful projects ever produced within the company. Our “Big Books,” consisting of 68 pages, were mailed in total to over 3 million households.
In 2019, we tested a complete company rebrand, the design of which was spearheaded by myself. This piece produced a 94% ticket to call ratio and, ultimately, set the path for refreshing the brand within the company.
Brochures
Handle all execution of the 100 page Cruise Guide brochure , including a complete rebrand in 2019 as well as an orientation change and total redesign in 2021. Averaging over 800 daily mailings to new customers & Travel Advisors who submit a request.

American Cruise Lines’ began to put more emphasis on a social media presence beginning in mid-2018. Tasks include completing all regular posts, 2-3 per week, coinciding with that weeks marketing focus. Posts range from photos to vectors & designs to GIFs.
Creative services offered and completed as freelance work. Common projects have included logo design or refreshes, branding, resume design, and more.

Logo design for Lucas Local, a Newtown, CT based seafood tavern serving up fresh seafood and elevated comfort food since July 2017.
Strong working relationship with CM8 Consulting & Management, creating several logos from 2020 - present. Projects include new brands, and leagues as well as existing logo refreshes.

While teaching full-time Kindergarten through Grade 8 from 2014-2017, I completed numerous projects for Ridgefield Academy ranging from flyers and banners for events, on campus signage to posters and t-shirt designs. All work completed in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
From 2017 forward, a strong working relationship has continued as I’ve continued to create branding and assets for new events and initiative for the school as a freelancer.
Created a logo and all assets for the event. Projected completed include apparel, flyers and digital assets for advertising prior, and large scale banners and signage for event day.
Moving into the 2019-2020 school year, classrooms and cafeterias will be looking a bit different. Ridgefield Academy has instituted an updated food program with safety being the top priority.
Kids will order their lunch online from one of 6 restaurant concepts. This project included creating six unique logos, establishing each restaurants ‘branding,’ and creating menus to be emailed digitally.
Ridgefield Academy's 2015 yearbook cover, created from a collection of simple line drawing from each student. Each hand drawn contribution was converted in Adobe Illustrator and individually manipulated to create this collaborative design.
Qorvis Communications is Publicis Groupe’s public affairs and public diplomacy based in Washington, DC. Participated in a variety of projects, handling multiple deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment. Used and developed skills in Indesign, Illustrator & Photoshop during an internship in May-June 2013.
Studied liberal arts with a concentration in Graphic Design. Including study in liberal arts developed vital skills such as critical thinking, verbal and writing, and extensive visual vocabulary & knowledge base.
The art program is based on classic design principles through the exploration of traditional and emerging media, allowing students to expand, develop, and refine their skills in a variety of mediums & approaches.
Developed a strong portfolio including book covers, logo & package design, promotional series, self branding and more, to ultimately participate in an art show showcasing this work.

A hand drawn logo developed from scratch then finalized in Adobe Illustrator. After choosing a business type, a random three letter word was assigned. The goal was for the viewer to definitively know what type of business the logo is for with minimal additions beyond the letters.
A project that entailed creating an identity for a program. This included creating a logo from scratch and including it in multiple components. Completed in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
CHAIR POSTER: Goal of the project was to create a poster capturing the style of the chair including the name and artist. Sleek, modern and simple. Completed in Adobe Illustrator.
DIGITAL COLLAGE: A graphic design poster on the father of modern symphony, Franz Joseph Haydn. Completed in the style of Hannah Höch, a German Dada artist.
